Edouard de Dreuzy

Edouard de Dreuzy is a Scientist at Editas Medicine (Cambridge MA), where he develops CRISPR nuclease-mediated stem cell therapies for Sickle Cell Disease. Before joining Editas in 2017, Edouard worked in the “Blood and Immune Disease” department of Généthon, a French organization dedicated to the design and development of gene therapy treatments for rare diseases.

Edouard de Dreuzy obtained his PhD in Hematology, Oncology and Biomedicines from the Université Paris Diderot for his research on the study and development of lentiviral vectors for hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) gene therapy. Edouard also holds a MSc in Molecular Medicine form Cranfield University (UK) and an Engineering Degree from the Université de Technology de Compiegne (FR).
