The conference is organized by :

ENSTBB-Bordeaux INP Engineering School is founded on the observation that there was a glaring lack of trained experts in the field of Biotechnology, and especially in biomanufacturing.

ENSTBB-Bordeaux INP, graduate school, has been in existence for over 15 years and has trained over 600 highly qualified students, focusing on quality training rather than on quantity.

ENSTBB-Bordeaux INP offers training associating different needs in the Biotech field: theory and lab work, Engineering – Biosciences – Management. From the outset of their studies, the students carry out projects implementing industrial standards (GLP, GMP, ICH…). The program covers the entire development pipeline of products and biotech services. Included in the program are modules such as: Cultures Cell (Pro & Euk), Biopurification (USP & DSP), Tech OMICS, Business Administration and Management (Marketing, Finance, Project Management, Strategy, IP, Entrepreneurial projects, Bio Engineering & Technical Ops (Prod, QA, Process engineering, etc.).

International recognition has promoted the placement of students abroad on several continents (Europe, North-South Asia, Africa, Oceania, and North America).

More than 80% of student internships are done abroad. On finishing their studies at ENSTBB, about 60% of graduates are recruited by companies abroad for their first job.

Founded in 2000, the ENSTBB-Bordeaux INP Alumni Association is an association “Loi 1901” which counts more than 660 members present in over 25 countries worldwide. Its main goal is to value ENSTBB diploma and to organize events for its members.

Fondation Bordeaux Université is a nonprofit organization raising funds to support the development of the whole campus in Bordeaux (université de Bordeaux, Université Bordeaux Montaigne, Sciences Po Bordeaux, Bordeaux INP including ENSTBB, Bordeaux Sciences Agro and CHU de Bordeaux).

In 2010 Sanofi and ENSTBB-Bordeaux INP with the support of Fondation Bordeaux Université joined to create an industrial chair “Biotech Sanofi – ENSTBB” dedicated to strengthening the professionalization of engineering students training and helping to maintain the school’s leadership.
